Estáter was founded in 2003 by four executives with ample previous experience and who are responsible for managing the business. In addition to the founding partners, today we count on three additional executive partners.


Pércio de Souza graduated in 1985 from UFPR in civil engineering and initiated his career in the Corporate area of Citibank in 1984. In 1992, he joined BBA Creditanstalt, where he became a partner and statutory director responsible for investment banking. He departed BBA in December 2002 to found Estáter Assessoria, a company specialized in large merger and acquisitions transactions. In 2009, he established Estáter GA, an investment holding, with the goal of participating in and managing companies. Today, GA invests in 3 private companies in Brazil, one in the United States, and acts as strategy coordinator and manager of Banco Voiter. In 2010, the partners of Estáter created Instituto Estáter which develops activities related to social responsibility, particularly to children and their insertion in society. The Instituto has supported actively projects such as: Fazendo A Nossa História; Parceiros da Educação; Pro-Saber; Instituto Rodrigo Mendes; Amigos do Bem; and scholarships for Universidade Einstein.

Since March 2020, the Instituto has been working on projects related to Covid-19, leading research for a better understanding of the evolution of the infection, as well as volunteer work for the most vulnerable Brazilian communities, with the goal of supporting initiatives aiming to reduce the mortality rate.


With a Law degree from University of São Paulo and a Public Administration degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, André was a partner at BBA Creditanstalt where, from 1998 to 2002, he was responsible for the institution’s Underwriting area. He joined Estáter as a founding partner in January 2003.


With a Business Administration degree from Universidade Candido Mendes, she worked at Banco Icatu from 1993 to 1999 where she became a partner and responsible for the institution’s International area. In 1999, Eleonora went to BBA where she became president of the securities brokerage firm and Broker Dealer in New York, coordinating the distribution fixed income and equity products. She joined Estáter as a founding partner in January 2003


With a Law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, he worked eight years at BBA Creditanstalt, where he was a Lawyer responsible for the Capital Market and M&A areas, as well as for supervising the brokerage firm BBA Icatu Securities Inc.’s legal department in New York. In June 2000 was named Director of BBA CTVM. Prior to working in the financial market, Gustavo worked four years at law firm Demarest & Almeida. He joined Estáter as a founding partner in January 2003.

Alexandre Braga de Andrade

With an Business degree from EAESP/FGV, joined Estáter in 2005 as a trainee. From 2008 to 2013 worked at Estáter Private Investment division, since then acts in the M&A area, taking part in most of the Transactions conducted by the company, becoming partner in 2019.


With a Business Administration degree from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado and a Master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he worked 12 years in the Treasury area at Citibank and Unibanco where, until 2000, was the fixed Income Head Trader for the local market. Between 2000 and 2004, Waldemar was Chief Investment Strategist at Unibanco Private Bank, having then joined Estáter as Head Treasurer.
